Can't help you but if you love the lore you may be interested in these podcasts. Some really cool ideas about the lore. But be warned. They are anywhere from 30min -2+ hours and there are about 43 of them.

Are these official? I have never heard of them before.

Not official Bungie employees but they have had at least several Bungie employee on one of their streams/podcasts. One was Morla Gorrondona, the voice of Eirs, Episode 25, and another was Seth Dickinson, author of the Book of Sorrows, episode 22. Kirsten Potter, Mara Sov, was on episode 34.
