Best get the majority of side quests done anyway. I was overlevelled to the point I completed the game with ease.
Got 5 achievements left which is a plus.

I was getting impatient cause the exploring I was doing all ended up with "come back later", like the volcano, the empty tomb, all that stuff, but I'm going to only do side quests after I grab my car.

The volcano has a royal arms but it's somewhat difficult to find. No boss though which is good. The empty tomb points you to one of the most difficult dungeons in the game. I haven't even attempted yet because it's a level 55 quest.

1) on the volcano does a bird show up where the nest is when jumping down from the camp 2) the dungeon your referring to is that the one with yojimbo

It didn't for me but I think it does in the end game. [spoiler]Gotta be the 4 wing bird from the beginning. I think it's a Zu.[/spoiler] No. That dungeon is right outside the roadblock to Insomnia. Also difficult but not as bad as the one you get pointed to.
