It's the flag of a traitorous rebel state government. Of course it should be taken down around public government buildings. That said, I have no problem with people having it on their private property.

Then should the state flags of all of the rebel states be taken down to?

ummm... Right after Dylan Roof attacked a church, they looked at his social media and found a picture of him draped in a CF, law makers across the country move to make it illegal for the confederate flag to be flown on government property

So it's not flown over the SC state house but still on every pickup truck and font yard in SC........big -blam!-ing deal.
