I swear to god, someone could literally fly you into space and you'd still pull something out your ass to "disprove" it

If someone could actually take me to space (it would need to be higher than the pic above), I would admit that the spherists were right if I could clearly see that earth is a ball. However, I assert that such space travel is not possible, at least as we have been led to believe. Why is that we supposedly went to the moon in the 60s and 70s but havnt been back, even though we are supposedly so much more advanced?

Because Obama defunded our space program...
-
You just proved his point, all you do is pull stuff out of your ass to "disprove" facts and science
-
Thank you

Unmotivated i guess.

We'll gladly start a kick starter to get you on the next satellite to Neptune.

Because what reason is there to go back? The Russians and Chinese want it, let them have it. There's nothing interesting there anymore. The real place we need to go to is Mars, it has so many more answers

By space travel, do you mean things like landing on the moon? Or just going into space? Because we frequently fly astronauts to the ISS, which I believe is higher than the plane pictured above. If you're talking about going to the moon and stuff, there's a few reasons why we probably don't anymore. It's expensive and our space programs are under funded as it is. Not much point really, we collected samples from the surface and planted our flag.
-
Wait. We have hundreds of starving and homeless people but the space program is under funded?
-
I mean, compared to what it used to be as well as what our space program is actually wanting to do, I'd say it's under funded
-
I think he means the Moon, because that thing according to us normal thinking people is 374.000 km away, while ISS is just 400 km.
