Very underwhelmed by the portrayal of Negan on the show. Not gonna lie, he seems much more watered down and feminine compared to the comic book character. Hard to stack up to the insanity and aggressiveness of comic book Negan on basic cable where the F word is not applicable.

I thought he was better on the show. Especially based on his introduction last series and first episode of this series. Wanna complain about watered down characters on the show? I'd go for Rick, Michonne and the Governor.

Nah, Negan is literally watered down. His foul mouth is a major part of his character. Without it he's cut down significantly

His foul mouth is a cheap way to make people hate him. It's his actions that make him Negan, as well as his immense control over people.

You'd think so if you had a superficial sense of creativity. Do you think Robert Kirkman would make him curse just because he feels like it? No, his foul mouth accents the brutality of his actions. It adds on to his certifiable insanity, without overpowering it. You can't have one and not the other. His personality is dull and not at all like it is in the comic. His vulgarity when he isn't in a rage just underscores the violence within which he's capable of. Without his vulgar mouth, he's just a rather poor portrayal of the joker.

Look, I disagree with you. Nothing you can say will change my opinion, especially if you're just going to insult my creativity because I disagree with you.

Nice job admitting your close mindedness and sensitivity. Peace
