For me I kind of struggle to know what to do each week now as I hit 400 on two characters done the hard raid and challenges , got quite a large number of max light weapons and armour so what is left? ......more importantly what is the point of carrying on? I was quite surprised how fast you can hit max light given that all say this is the last dlc and it's not as if destiny 2 is coming out very soon, unless I'm mistaken! So what is the point of continuing to play.........real shame as I do like the game but there are no goals left

I was shocked how much less content rise of iron had compared to the taken king. They had a whole year and added like 10 missions some reusing existing levels. And there's only a handful of new exotics and all the Y2 stuff came along so there was no need to grind for Y3 versions. I'm not even sure if I want to get Destiny 2, at least not at first. I'm assuming if I wait a year I can pay the same price for it plus two DLCs that should've been part of the D2 release but were cost-engineered out.

destiny 2 was supposed to come out rather than RoI. they had to ask activision for permission to put the RoI out. Luke Smith was put in charge of destiny 2 and said they needed another year top develop it. so they put some content together and slapped it out. year 3 was never meant to still be on destiny 1 lol. so there isnt a lot to do and sbmm is killing the crucible for a lot. People are moving away from the game. if it carries on I am not sure what kind of playerbase they will have left come destiny 2
