They are fine, they get hot as expected, but they dont get a heat stroke and die. Now if its like 95 degrees plus, id recommend keeping them indoors. During the summer id walk with them down to the lake so they can play in the water and keep cool.
Yeah. I had a husky when I was a kid and we used to spend our summers in the Texas hill country. The temperature would get to about 105 degrees.
She didn't enjoy being outside for a long time when it got that hot (unless we were swimming or something, like you said). But we just kept the house cool, and her hydrated, and she handled it pretty well.
