60-75% of the time is because a passenger vehicle didn't see you and cuts you off and or straight up hits you.
The majority of the other crashes are usually on curved roads or turns.
About 1% of riders will die. Majority of those people aren't wearing helmets.
They're not as dangerous as people think but they are still dangerous.
Start off with something you feel you'll be comfortable with.
My first bike has a 689cc engine. It's pretty fast but not insanely fast like some other liter bikes. I'm hyper aware all the time. They're super fun

That's why I'm gonna have a nice helmet. That and I'm aware whenever I'm even in a car.

Also, lots and I mean lots of people are gonna want to race you. Since you have a bike and they have a car there's a really good chance that you'll win. Did I mention that motorcycles are super fast? At least compared to cars
