Striker from day 1. I still use shoulder charge consistently. Combined with Jolders it's still viable. I also use the MK 44's to extend the run up. While I myself have never thought it had tracking it did have a much too sloppy hitbox and that needed addressing as the community requested. It was bogus that we could ohk folks just by catching them on the toe or brushing their cape. You have to make a square clean hit now. I also have no problem with the cool down changes. Jolders tweaks that enough to work with it. If it keeps happening to you might I suggest you look at your and your opponents connection at the time. Could be a lag issue. They will always make changes and as such we will always Adapt.
Of course once you upload that video I may have to change my tune. :-)

So I'm not sure if I'm interpreting it right but I'm seeing two instances of SC, yes? The first one is the one I'm curious about. With the sound up you can clearly hear that telltale SC connect sound and yet you weren't credited with a kill. Couldnt make out the enemy to see if it was a Ramlock or some other max armor setup. For the second one I would say pre nerf it might have registered but they did tighten up the hit detection I believe so a graze won't do it anymore. It looks like a fairly horizontal travel but your perspective might have looked different. I tend to wait until the last moment before I go airborne because of this. You could say that you are right in the sense that there are inconsistencies when compared to how it used to be. Just my humble opinion. Hopefully someone else will chime in with a different perspective.

If you heard the blade dancer sound he was the first one I hit because he was invisible

Edited by Athos SD: 11/24/2016 9:25:59 AMAs a day one Striker Titan , I agree with almost all your points except the adjustment to the animation. By slowing down the animation you are forced to use it sparingly because you can certainly melee it before it hits you. Other than that it is still very viable and good as long as you run the no sprint cool down artifact with it.
-
Except I shouldn't be locked to an artifact to make a perk viable. I would much rather run perun or ghelon.
-
True enough. But they got their way and our cool down was "adjusted". You do what you can. Funny how our class was the least scrutinized for so long. I guess trying to balance the classes is like a Whack A Mole game. Weaken one sub class and another comes up strong suddenly. Rinse and repeat.

Edited by Athos SD: 11/24/2016 4:25:25 PMPerhaps but I feel like Striker in general was underestimated. They really are much better at rushing in and breaking up formations . ( Than Defender will ever be) For example ... Just yesterday I ran into a group of 3 Defenders all with no back up plans/ shotty. I absolutely solo wrecked them with my trusty Dunemarchers. One of my proud moments as a Striker Shoulder Charge with No JUGG.
-
To be fair I never really liked shoulder charge, I used it a ton before it was "cool" and I guess I just got tired of it.

Edited by Stuka Ju87D: 11/23/2016 6:58:16 PMTry it in Supremacy. Guaranteed crest, even if you die doing it. ;-)

I know Im very consistent in using it I still use it in trials and ib with paragon grieves but I without a doubt belive it is the hit box to I'm fan with the new cool down time... Wished it affected jug but apparently they wanted this but yeah rarely though every once a week or so I will plan hit someone it will make the kill register sound and it will not kill but I'm not too upset with that one
-
Well if you use the Peregrines regularly then jump charging would be your thing so maybe there is an issue. I don't use them enough to know. I'm now waiting for that super long PEREGRINE GREEEEEEEAVES! post to land here
-
It just really helpful to kill supers and Max armor guardians in clutch situations in trials and it helps win most IB matches that's it witch is where most of where this post mainly came from trials mainly

Yes agreed. Except those insidious RamLocks. I will never learn to keep my distance from them. Perhaps after several dozen more attempts to SC them I will take the hint.
