So do you load into a raid planning to screw around and expect to fail and not finish it? (The equivalent of losing a PVP match) Year 1 when Nightfall was going to orbit if your team wiped, did you go into it with the attitude of wanting to just "do a casual Nightfall"? It is PVP, competitive game mode. You you don't plan on winning, why do it? Then on to the next part - what you constitute as "sweaty". As a disclaimer: I'm not a Last Word user, and if I use a shotgun, I've used many. Not stuck to any particular name. That being said, I have played with some AWESOME PVP players who absolutely suck with guns I am lethal with. And the so called Meta guns they are Godlike with, I can't use for shit. So you play to win with guns you are at your best with. That doesn't make you sweaty, that makes you smart. Now if I want to try my hand at a new weapon in PVP, I do so in 6v6. The stakes are lower, with more players on the board, if you fail your team can make up the difference. In 3v3 the stakes are higher and you need to carry your own weight, not be a liability. 3v3 is where the real competition comes into play. So it's not "sweaty" - it's actual competition. I go in to every 3v3 with my best loadouts. I play my hardest to win. Am I upset if I lose? No. I often send messages telling them "awesome match, nothing but respect" since they beat me at my best. No disrespect by the way. Just giving you a different point of view.

  • I see it as more of a heroic Strike. Of course I want to beat it, but that does not mean I will try my damn hardest to do so. It gets tiring running Gjallarhorn and Ex Machina every strike. I just want to go in there an have fun. If that means giving up performance for something different, so be it. It may not be the best at killing the boss fastest, but if using Bolt Caster is fun, then so be it. I get tired of using Clever Dragon and Matador 64 every game. I haven't used Auto Rifles in a while so that game I tried out a gun that was once my favorite, Monte Carlo. I had a blast with it using the Stormcaller extended melee. Of course I did worse using it, but I enjoyed it more. Perhaps if there was some reward for winning I would care more (like Iron Banner). In that, however, winning is nice but doesn't actually mean anything. And I would rather have fun than win.
