Good question, I personally believed that the most significant event would be Talos becoming a god. The Talos Ascension is a huge game changer. A mortal man becomes a god, as in, superior to all. The elves, who believe themselves superior to man, now are inferior to man. This completely flips the scales and has huge impacts.
Also the Dwemer vanishing to another plain is a massive event. An entire race, that stretches across Tamriel, vanishes all at once. I don't even know where to begin if they stayed around.
An honorable mention is the wiping of the existence of Jungles in Cyrodil across time.

Flips the scales? More like tip the scales
*Fire Embleming intensifies*
No. The scales have flipped. It's that dramatic.

The lore behind the Dwemer has always interested me. I have just never really read into any Elder Scrolls lore. Do you mind if i ask for a brief explanation on the Dwemer? (Who they are/were, where are they now? Why arent they around/ why did they leave? ) Would be much appreciated :)

Edited by Superpug: 11/15/2016 3:08:02 AMAlright, I'll try to make this not be 3 pages of text. Alright so long ago before the inhabitants of Atmora (the other continent where the Nords, Akavir, etc. came from) came to Tamriel there was an empire that expanded all over Tamriel. From Hammerfell to Morrowind, it was the Dwemer. They are also known as "Dwarves" but are not your dwarf such as in LOTR or anything, but they were normal elves. Long ago the Giants of Skyrim called them Dwarfs because of their size, and it just stuck. So the Dwarves lived in underground cities and were incredibly advanced with all their steam automations and stuff. They are also responsible for screwing up a multitude of races, but that's for another time. They weren't good, quite the opposite. Anyways, they found the Heart of Lorkan (an incredibly powerful god) inside the Red Mountain, an inactive volcano. They made some special tools to try to tap into the power of this dead god's heart and then *poof* They vanished. Gone. All at once. Every single Dwemer on the face of Nirn vanished. Nobody knows for sure where they went, but popular theory is that they were taken to another plain of Oblivion. That's it. Basic explanation.

You are a god-send, Sir. That cleared up so much for me. Do you believe we will ever get an ES game based on the Dwemer? Maybe even just something to do with Lorkan and an attempted revival of him. (Assuming Lorkan is a dude) Also, what is your belief on where the Dwemer went? Do you agree with the plane of Oblivion theory, or do you think there is an underlying plot/secret?

Edited by Superpug: 11/15/2016 4:43:11 AMWell unless we go back, like way back millennials to get the the first era, I highly doubt we will ever see the "original" Dwemer in a game. Now, will we encounter them at some point in the future, possibly. But as far as normal Dwemer life, I highly doubt it. As far as the Lorkhan plot line, that all was in the game Morrowind. As you are this being, sort of a champion of Lorkhan. It's complicated. Lorkhan himself is dead though, well, gods don't completely die. He sorta-kinda lives on through his "champion" for lack of better word. Which is your Morrowind character. Whose also immortal. Yeah. Complicated. As far as what happened I'm totally sure they went to another plain. One we don't know about. Maybe it's somewhat like the Soul Cairn, they are trapped "in" Lorkhan. They certainly aren't in Mundus (the plain that Nirn is in, and the moons and such) anymore. Side note: One Dwarf actually survived. He was in a different plain of Oblivion at the time they all vanished so he showed up in Morrowind.

Didn't they disappear after creating Numidium? And as ES likes to give room for 'Headcanon' I believe the most accepted or stated though not only thing that happened to them is they became the skin of Numidium I.E it's shiny brass casing.

Very interesting, id love to see a game based on the Dwemer. Whether it be past or present. Maybe one of them escapes this plane they're possibly in and finds us. Then we are sent on a journey to save or defeat the Dwemer. (Unsure whether they would be ally or enemy) As for Morrowind, it was the first ES game i played. Though i was very young and had no idea wtf i was doing. I really got hooked on the series with Oblivion, and Skyrim was okay (IMO). I dont mind ESO, but i really want another single player ES game already :(
