Firstly, SBMM has been a part of the game since day one. Secondly, over about 2mbps down and 1mbps up your bandwidth and router are irrelevant, your connection quality is dependent on, to some degree your ISP, and mainly how your home network is configured. You can buy a $600 router but if you configure it wrong you'll still have issues Thirdly, you've maintained a 50-60% win ratio over the last 3-4 weeks so you're obviously not struggling, and you're ahead of the 50% win ratio that Bungie aim for with their match making settings. It's fine to get frustrated but you should understand what you are complaining about before you go and complain about it.

  • Ok so why do I want a prefigured win percentage for me? Lol. If I'm pretty much guaranteed to be around 50 percent win percentage like bungie wants then what's gonna be the point of me playing? I already know I'll win about half of my matches if I play as sweaty as humanly possible. That's a dumb idea

  • It's not a "preconfigured win percentage". If you're managing the pvp environment for the entire active population, an overall 50% w/l ratio means that people are generally winning as much as they are losing, i.e keeping the game interesting for them. Winning is irrelevant in crucible other than trials or IB, but people are more likely to play if they're getting kills, winning and overall having more fun. Obviously there are going to be people that fall outside that on both sides, but you can't tailor the experience to everyone individually.
