Played this three times now and I've picked to side with mage s every time. As much as wanted to see the templer side just once I couldn't do it. There straight up just wrong to me. Every one deserves freedom no matter what ability they were BORN with. It's not like they choose to be a mage. You know who's really to blame here! Religion! Everyone should abandon the makers teachings

  • Yes I agree they deserve to be free, the problem is: do you remember who started the blights and dark spawn? Blood magic stuff, etc. That's why I even think about helping the Templars, someone to keep these special individuals in check

  • To me that's just codemning a whole group of people for a few bad eggs. That's like saying let's codemn a whole country because of a terrorist organization within that country. That's just the way I see it. People are scared of there abilities better make them docile lifeless so we can sleep better at night. Yeah we're selfish pricks

  • "You can't punish all because of the mistakes of a few" I know that was my point with that, anyway I did the mages mission and I can't stop laughing after the ending Solas greatly approves A few seconds later... EVERYONE ELSE GREATLY DISSAPONTES

Lol yeah not a popular choice with your group. I forgot that since it's been over year since my last playthrough. BTW I highly recommend the dlc that adds to the main story if you don't have it

Chantrey certainly is weak and failed in its roll as mediator between the two, especially in Kirkwall.

  • That's why Leliana is the best choice for Divine, and Cassandra a decent backup and second choice, because both of them (Leliana especially) recognize the failings in the Chantry and make it part of their goal to reform it...and just how broken the Chantry is is why I will never choose or push for Vivian as the Divine, and also why I just kind of don't like her, because to her the status-quo and everything that's directly or indirectly responsible for the Mage-Templar war is a-ok with her....
