No just everyone in it was Christian. Making the demographics a white Christian state with some black christians too.

Which doesn't mean that it's a nation founded on Christianity. It's founded on freedom of religion and freedom from the same.

When a nation is found by people who acknowledge the people and everyone is christain, how much line drawing does it take to say it wasn't Christian.

Basically? The core tenets of how it's run. No laws are SPECIFICALLY derived from Christianity, no laws favor it, etc. All religions are welcome, all beliefs can be freely practiced.

Strictly off of the Quran? Yes, actually. The term is Talaq, or Khula if it is by the wife's decision. The general course of action would be to give the couple three opportunities to settle the dispute first before allowing the divorce, but it would be allowed. Ancient Athenian law, for example, allowed for either part of a couple to submit a divorce request to a magistrate, who would determine whether the grounds presented were adequate to permit the divorce. Ancient Rome functionally pioneered the idea of no-fault divorce. Even ancient Mesopotami allowed for divorce, though in that case a wife could only divorce in cases of neglect or mistreatment. Actually, they aren't. They're more frequent in the Middle East, but that's less due to Islam and more due to that the region is something of a disaster. Corruption, etc
