Until this becomes the challenge no one is going to bother adding the extra headache, most people don't have a problem getting their supers before dps phase. Many people use LFG to get the raid done, it's not exactly a lets hang around and try new stuff atmosphere, it's more of a lets get this over with so we can get on with our night attitude usually.

This is how you reduce your damage phase numbers though. 3 teleports + 3 extra Supers can potentially be dozens of Nova bombs, golden guns, titan slams whatever. Using this mechanic is how a team became the first to kill Aksis in one phase without using the pillars. Skipping it when it is so easy is wasted dps.

I don't disagree with you, but when you run the raid using LFG you find that many people have enough problems keeping track of the regular mechanics. While adding this mechanic might help you beat him a little faster, chances are it will just make the fight take longer due to mess ups. Besides any more then 4 Dark Drinkers and you basically get him to half health first dps phase so why bother until we have to.
