Never had an issue with the drop rate of key's. My guess is you guys are farming the strike playlist and odds are it's on a timer so as to ensure you get the rewards, but the rewards themselves are not supposed to be had on minute timers or even hour timers... But if it's an issue, a patch will be administered and there's more then a few ways to supplement those rewards in crucible if you like that...
