It's not the profile that's the problem, it's the fact that someone can easily just go to a website, type in your GT or PSN username and they're just given all of your statistics. This includes your KD for each playlist in the crucible, how many times you've beaten each raid, all of your crucible match history, and more.
That wouldn't be possible if Bungie kept the data secure, and yet all kinds of websites allow you to do this.
But, you don't even have to have a Bungie.net ID that matches your gamer tag, and if your profile is private, there is no way for anyone to find out what your gamer tag is. They wouldn't have any idea what to look up.
If you don't want people to know your stats, you don't have to.
Your role as a moderator enables you immediately ban this user from messaging (bypassing the report queue) if you select a punishment.
