I've got an old story as well. But it's two people you thought would never be likely friends against the hive.
Shall I recite it?

Alright, this is from an old journal from a Hunter. Listen closely...
Day 7: the hive are getting more aggressive in the old city. I had to move but I didn't get far. They surrounded me and a crew of fallen. I didn't bother with them, they seemed pretty busy. After hours of fighting, only their captain remained, in strange purple armor and cloaks, his shock swords pulsing. He didn't acknowledge me, so we kept at the fighting. Eventually I killed the hive knight leading the attack. That ended the threat for now, but I slowly turned to the captain. And he turned to me... Instead of charging me, he simply nodded and spoke, not in perfect English mind you, "I thank you...warrior." Now this utterly confused me. I wasn't a warrior, those were the Titans. But, to prove his point, he tore off his cloak and shock swords, and laid them on the ground for me. "Our enemies return... will you fight beside me...?" I took up a sword and we went to town cutting up hive like a hot knife through warm butter. After the battle, I didn't see the captain, and I wondered where he went. But I picked up his cloak and decided to wear it. To this day, I still do. But I always wonder... what house did that captain belong to? The symbol on his cape is similar to that of a teardrop, but I don't know what house wears those banners...
That's what I meant. Good luck with being able to. Either way, this has been a nice conversation.
