The OP was talking about FoTL [i]ITEMS[/i] with their expiration date. Not the Event itself, but rather, the items obtained from it.

Not all of them . Exemple : the broomstick . Obviously you're not going to keep looting halloween masks and other stuff once the event is over , it'd be weird to drop masks during christmas . However , once you acquire solething , it shouldnt just disappear out of your inventory for no reason , as those items can be considered as collectibles , trophies , souvenirs etc. Think about it , one of the 3D artists must have spent several hours in front of his computer , making the actual broom , creating the animations , making sure the guardian's hands would grab the stick instead of the usual sparrow handles , making sure the thing doesn't create any glitches etc. And after two weeks , all this work will be simply deleted ? I just find this stupid , which is why I made that thread . Hopefully they'll let us keep it . I can imagine people launching rift on large maps like bastion and playing quidditch , that'd be amazing , but not if it disappears right away .

I will live. And that 3D guy is probably well paid, I think he will live aslo
