Thanks for the tip. Is his aoe damage focused in front then? I always thought it was all around him.

It is all around but you wont be sent flying when he slams. Also when you jump away from him, its a lot harder to get away. He'll just follow you and keep slamming. When you get behind hi by jumping over it takes him longer to find you or he'll usually lose agro and attack someone else.
