Well...I don't think mine qualifies as creative, plus it's after the due time, but I figured I'd share what I did for today. This was drawn after I trashed a previous drawing of a rainbow burn warlock (could use all three elements).

  • Thanks very much. DBZ is still my favorite anime, so it makes sense for me to do a mashup of it with Destiny.

  • How did you keep your lines so clean?

  • A lot of the time I sketch in pencil and ink over it. I use a wide variety of tools like Prisma, Micron Multiliners, Copic Markers, Bic pens, and some other things. It has to do with hand skill. Knowing when to use just your fingers, turn the wrist, or move the whole forearm to create what you intended. Try out drawing different shapes with different tools. I took an Intro to Graphic Design class and my teacher made us draw exact squares for a couple days. This really helped in attaining an attention to detail. Hope this helps!

  • Yep. Micron Multiliners, and Prisma Pens. They sell both at Hobby Lobby and Michael's Arts & Crafts. Copic also has pens but they're the most expensive. I usually only buy one or two a paycheck.

  • Yeah, I had the app open with my character being shown. Had to improvise on some parts, though.

  • Thanks very much! I still don't think it's very creative but it gave me some inspiration to create something I wouldn't have thought of otherwise.

  • Thanks! I try to make every finished piece look as if it was printed off. These contests and Inktober have really pushed me back into art.
