Exos are [i]separate[/i] from Rasputin. I'm sure many people other than me are sick and tired of people thinking every exo is Rasputin.

I've heard plenty of theories about the Exo Stranger being Rasputin but Shiro is just crossing the line of stupidity

Why not? The new DLC is literally inside Rasputin and Saladin is trying to say something about that f*cking warmind, or do you think that was just a random comment? At the same point, we are introduced to an exo that was completely out of context with a lot of knowledge about SIVA and Rasputin that is also a Cayde's scout and seems to know Saladin for a long time. For me, it makes more sense than the Stranger being that russian machine. Rember that the mission of the Stranger was related to the Vex and they even went to Earth!

Ok, sure. But think about it this way. The Vanguard has been trying to make Rasputin an ally for a long while now. But he still isn't. We're not necessarily allies but we're neutral. If Rasputin was a [i]Vanguard[/i] scout, wouldn't it make sense for Rasputin to be on our side?

If Shiro-4 is Rasputin, the "Vanguard scout" is only a kind of disguise as I said... Seems that Vanguard even knew about SIVA (there is no data about this as the ghost said during the quest) and the comments of Saladin regarding this subject are very evasive, the only argument is that the Vanguard let this issue under his responsability. For me, it's clear that the Iron Lord and the Vanguard are not really working together. Don't forget that this is only a theory based in some tips that we got from grimoire and some dialogue during the quests of Rise of Iron. I just think that is not so stupidy as you said...
