I get that the new artifacts are supposed to be super special and give unique attributes, but the Memory of Gheleon is broken for two reasons:
1. It renders the Exotic Helmet "Knucklehead Radar" useless.
2. It renders the Nightstalker Perk "Keen Scout" almost useless.
One or the other, I would be totally fine with. However, this single Artifact is about as powerful as two Exotic armor pieces are. No other Artifact is this strong.
No, this isn't a nerf post. It's that this Artifact is obviously better than a perk and Exotic combined. If anything, Knucklehead Radar should be buffed. As it is, you'd be far better off using Memory of Gheleon and a different Exotic instead.
2 RepliesIf you'd be better off using memory o gheleon and another exotic then why not do that? Kh radar is sort of a wasted exotic slot anyway. It also doesn't give you the tracking that keen scout does, which is arguably one of the most appealing perks of keen scout to begin with (never really noticed the crouch speed). Not that in was complaining when nightstalkers were the only ones with God radars hehe. I wouldn't say it's broken though.

Keep in mind the artifact doesnt increase sprint and sneak speed like Keen Scout does, IMO Keen scout is still better.

Just means they need to buff the old exotic and the perk

Edited by Matt Boy52: 10/8/2016 7:59:15 AMBuff Knucklehead Radar to have Third Eye on all weapons. I don't think the artifact messes with Keen Scout much though, as you can wear the artifact, use Graviton Forfeit and Have both perks unlocked for free so you can use the third option in that skill tree. Plus, other classes can have the better radar now too. It does make the Relentless Tracker perk on weapons useless though.
