Secret "No Crest" Strategy for winning Supremacy??
I was just in 6 iron banner matches and witnessed as my teammates, on at least 20 different occasions, ran away from enemy crests, or didn't pick-up the crests of their teammates.
Several of these instances had multiple blueberries sitting right next to them, but they ran away from another enemy instead of trying to grab 3 or 4 crests that were literally 2 steps away from them. I was astonished.
Now, I KNOW there are no Destiny Players dumb enough to completely ignore the central strategy and key-component of WINNING a match (like capturing Zones in Control?), so it is with INDIGNANT OUTRAGE that I DEMAND to be let in on this secret of "Not getting crests."
I mean, we lost the vast majority of those matches, so clearly I was doing something wrong. Maybe I tried to grab too many crests? Regardless of that, I INSIST that someone tell me this secret strategy.
You have 24 hours from now, and then I start shitting on peoples couches until I get some answers.

Oh no a crest what is that? Question, if every crest is good for 2 points then why hand 4 if you die? Why lose two points because of your precious kd?. At the very least if you run in on a kill trade, as often happens with shotguns, as long as you secure the enemy and deny and die then you did good, 2 points for both sides, rather than letting them secure both crests. And for the love of god, group up, supremacy is a team game, if you move around together yes you get opened up to super multikills but you get more denials to normal kills. Tips to win: Deny, deny, deny, deny, pick up thise blue crests, they can't win if they have no crests to pick up. Move together, 3 people have a much easier time dropping one person than one does, three times the damage in the same amount of time. Also moving as a group allows denials on friendly deaths, again they can't win if they have no crests to pick up, even though the risk of super multikills is higher the amount of denials often counteracts this. Secure kill crests, every second you hesistate to get that crest is another second they have to deny. Every denial they get is 2 less points for your team.

My buddies and I have this same problem. We grab crests... Blueberries run from at least two more nearby when we die. Wtf.

Seen a Titan slam on 4 enemies look at me looked at the crests and ran off and got sniped I picked up all 4 enemy crests and his and we barely won the match I was like wtf

Maybe they are, but the lag isn't allowing them to pick them up, a lot of times I'll run over a crest and it won't pick up, I'll give it another pass then move on. I don't know how many time I've been killed trying to pick a crest up.

1 ReplyIdk. I dont even have a chance to grab my own crests. Only crests i collected were kills i got with my shotty. Almost all my scout rifle kills were taken by other players. Few times i charged for it and got it

2 RepliesI've encountered instances where I or someone else can be standing on a crest for a minute and it doesn't pick up. I realize it could just be my connection but it's annoying.

Supremacy is just a garbage vomit inducing game mode. Shot guns and 1v3s

Best strategy I've seen is running around with a partner. Team shoot the enemy pick up crests. One of you goes down pick up crest. Meet up at B spawn. You both go down reset and begin again.

In my games everyone races for every crest. It might be an sbmm thing m8.

2 RepliesI watched a guy. There was a blue crest in front of a doorway where I died after gunning down three of the enemy team. This dude shows up and kills the guy who killed me. Runs straight ahead. The blue crest, my blue crest, is directly in his path. He stops. Walks around it. Then goes and picks up the remaining red crest.

Probably giving other team mates a chance at highest score, i know its what i started do once i had highest score but made sure a team mate was around to collect them.

5 RepliesBlame Bungie, no need to win or do the objective for this IB. Fulfill bounties and collect end game loot, winning doesn't matter. This will be the first IB since the beginning I will not be trying to run all 3 characters to level 5......absolutely hate it. Also miss the daily bounties.
