Lol it is because shotguns have an advantage in supremacy over snipers. Using a sniper makes no sense, unless youre in a fireteam and have good communication. Fusions and Sidearms can wreck shotguns if you shoot at mid range

Don't play supremacy if you don't like shotguns. In a game mode that requires you pick up a crest where you kill your opponent, shotguns are GOING to be good....
