He claimed a judge couldn't do his job because he was Mexican. That's overt discrimination which is a big word for being racist. F Donald Trump.
English
-
Donald Trump was saying the judge wasn't going to be impartial, because of his intense pride in his national heritage. Since Donald Trump wants to build a wall on America's southern border, the judge would have a conflict of interests. ^that is essentially what Donald said, not that the judge couldn't do his job because he was Mexican, but that the Judge's pride in his heritage would create a conflict of interests.
-
That is pointing out lack of impartially. A thing judges are supposed to do. Mexican is also not a race. Not racist.
-
Also please go put nationality or race in a thesaurus and see if they both show up.
-
Omg. Please go start a pole on off topics. Ask the question: if someone told somebody you can't do you job because your Mexican, is that racist? I'm curious, let's see what results you would get.
-
Lmao so is off topic now the arbiter of word definition?
-
You're misrepresenting the facts. The facts were: the Judge was already anti-Trump. He was part of a group that was anti-Trump. Do you believe a judge could be impartial-regardless of their race-if they were predisposed to dislike/oppose you?
-
Edited by JS5218: 10/4/2016 5:21:26 AMDid the judge hold a sign up that said I'm anti Trump? Ohhh wait he's part of a Latino club. Ohhh wait so because he does Mexican stuff he can't do his job. That type of thinking is racist. Being a judge is a very important position. I'm pretty sure judges take their jobs very seriously. If someone is innocent or guilty a judge is impartial no matter what the beliefs are. But according to you this judge should recuse himself for being anti Trump. A sentiment the judge never expressed. Maybe you just think only Mexican judges go against their oath.
-
Edited by NeverAlfredo: 10/4/2016 5:28:14 AMI mean, yes, the judge was very openly anti-Trump. But you're missing my point. I'm not saying "that judge could not be impartial, whatsoever." Nor do I agree with Trumps actions. But that does not mean he's racist.
-
The judge said that he was anti Trump?
-
Though i dont agree with trump and most of his views i definitely do not trust that lying bitch hillary clinton, i hope you do not either
-
I don't
-
Thank you. This position we are in really does suck. We are stuck in between two evils.
-
I think of it this way. The president has veto power. Which means congress and Supreme Court has most of the power. President also picks Supreme Court justices. That's huge. President also controls the military. That's huge. Do you want Hillary to do that or Donald? Donald offended me, my family, my friends. Hillary is status quo politician. Rich bitch making money off politics. So who do you want?
-
Edited by Ricochet 049: 10/3/2016 4:54:01 PMMexican is a nationality. There is no official Mexican race. Trump was wrong in this situation but that wasn't an example of racism.
-
Edited by JS5218: 10/3/2016 4:55:16 PMYes it is. If you're saying someone can't do a job because of their nationality that is overt discrimination. You defending this is horrible.
-
Edited by Ricochet 049: 10/3/2016 5:01:07 PMI clearly said "trump was wrong". I was not defending him only clearing up the definition. But Mexican is not a race. Hispanic is a racial identity as is Latino. There were native Americans in the region now called Mexico, but they weren't Mexicans
-
Ok, play around with words all you like. The fact is if he makes judgements based on this type of thinking it's going to hurt a lot of communities. He's done this before when he racially profiled people before renting apartments to them.
-
Edited by Ricochet 049: 10/3/2016 7:18:57 PMIs you're offended switch stuck on? You are so anti trump that you think me disagreeing with trump is defending him. How deranged do you have to be?
-
Edited by JS5218: 10/3/2016 10:05:12 PMI am offended. I'm Latino and you're acting like you know how I feel about this. F you too. I know that it is racist and you playing around with words to prove some point that I don't know what racism is. F you.
-
Edited by Ricochet 049: 10/4/2016 1:44:35 AMRacism the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races. prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior. Your feelings don't determine the definition. And we have established that Mexican is not a race. His bad behavior is not classified as racism. It can be called another form of bigotry, but racism is inaccurate. You can dislike him for what ever reason, I don't care, I don't like him either. But I value the truth more than feelings.
-
The truth is he is racist.
-
Do you have evidence of this?
-
I gave you some but you don't care.
-
No you pointed out that he doesn't like people from Mexico. That isn't racism. It's bigoted but not racist.
-
I feel like we are arguing the same thing now. Go put bigot in a thesaurus and see if racist shows up.
