[i]John walked into the hall and upon seeing Alyssa he rushed over.[/i]
"Shh, it'll be okay. Everything will be alright now."
[i]He takes a blanket out of a pocket, wraps her in it, and starts to carry her.[/i]

[i]Alyssa sobbed, pushing away the unfamiliar man, falling to the floor. She stared at him with hatred in her green eyes; definitely not wanting to be touched by a man.[/i]

"Okay, I should've thought of that...." [i]He puts the blanket back on her and simply sits across from her to keep guard of the defenseless girl.[/i] "I'll protect you."

"Shut up," [i]Alyssa growled.[/i] "Shut the -blam!- up."

"I was never good at this kind of thing." [i]He continued to sit there guarding her with his rifle in his lap.[/i]

[i]Alyssa fell into a hateful silence, glaring at the man with prejudice.[/i]
