donald trump;
"i don't want black people counting my money"
yes he said that
English
-
You putting quotes around what he said doesnt prove that he actually said it, give us real evidence before saying he said it
-
there was a magazine interview article which claimed trump said it. trump later both confirmed and denied the quote as accurate on different occasions.
-
No link, no evidence

Edited by DarthBrando: 10/5/2016 4:05:12 AMlook at the other replies to my reply; you will see a WASHINGTON POST LINK which references where the original quote is from and the subsequent follow up affirmation and deformation of the quote by Trump and where those are from. when replying to a reply in a topic, at leas read the other sub replies to that reply. it gets quite aggravating answering the same exact question 3x
-
Bullshit. A disgruntled former employee SAID that he said it....with no witnesses to corroborate. Try again.
-
Edited by DarthBrando: 10/3/2016 1:24:32 PMInstantly, Donald was enthused. “Yeah, I never liked the guy. I don’t think he knows what the f––– he’s doing. My accountants up in New York are always complaining about him. He’s not responsive. And isn’t it funny, I’ve got black accountants at the Trump Castle and at Trump Plaza. Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day. Those are the kind of people I want counting my money. No one else.” the full quote---^ yes he actually said it look here on https://www.washingtonpost.com/amphtml/news/fact-checker/wp/2016/07/25/did-donald-trump-really-say-those-things/ see the title? edit; nvm trump both denied and admitted to saying it idk so idk who knows but yea it was a published quote.
-
according to your quote, its bc he was incompetent not because he was black.
-
the back half of the quote states he wants jews counting his money not blacks er sumthin idk the quote was seccond hand though and trump has both confirmed and denied it since so point is kinda mute at this point
-
Listen son....anything else you need help understanding you just come to UnclePeedee you got it? I'll help you see things how they really are.
-
Man you people are so gullible....no wonder you are easily ruled. Did you even read your own article? Did you miss this part right before the quote you posted? "This is a secondhand quote, something that someone has alleged that Trump said. So it should be viewed with some skepticism." Just the fact that an outlet will post secondhand quotes shows you how much of an agenda they have.
-
edit; nvm trump both denied and admitted to saying it idk so idk who knows but yea it was a published
yes i read that, in 1997 trump told playboy magazine it was probably true years later he said none of it was true doesnt change the fact that it IS a published on the record quote
-
Uhh yes it does matter. You're own cited article reminds you it's a secondhand quote(worthless) and should be viewed with skepticism. People can say that you've said ANYTHING, it doesn't make it true. This is no different from me saying I met you and you told me you murder children.
-
yea its kinda different when it comes to PUBLISHED JOURNALISTIC INTERVIEWS--> pre 2000, if a magazine wrote a false article and that magazine was not an editorial one---> the magazine could be sued or shut down if they dont print a retraction and fire the original journalist also with that particular quote donald trump himself said; its probably true---> to playboy magazine in 1997 then later said it was totally false
-
He never told playboy it was true. Link the article.
-
Edited by DarthBrando: 10/3/2016 2:04:38 PMi did in that washington post article below the quote in that paragraph of it being a second hand quote it states; So this is clearly a secondhand quote, made in a private conversation and written some years after the fact. Trump called O’Donnell a disgruntled employee, but he initially did not dispute the remarks. “The stuff O’Donnell wrote about me is probably true,” he told Playboy in an interview published in May 1997. see the last sentence there---> donald trump said that in a playboy magazine interview in may 1997 link to interview is in washington post article
-
Not specific. Nobody takes this stuff seriously man.
-
i understand that but same time tho having a possible racist, a confirmed sexist with dodgy business contacts, an almost direct connection to organized crime (one of his assistants worked in the mob) multiple bankruptcies, and 3500 total lawsuits he was involved with---> yea that as PRESIDENT could end very, very badly.
