The blast radius on nova bomb is STUPID huge, dont rely on vortex to get you the kill if you couldnt with the nuke of a nova bomb, and its definitely not supposed to be used like a trap as you stated, its not a tether.

I know, I'm not saying the vortex should be the main way of killing guys I'm saying it should be strong enough where people don't just walk through it. Perfect example is the crest situation I talked about: I place a nova directly over a couple crests, but enemies just walk through it and pick them up. What's the point if it's so weak you don't even have to bother going around it?
