It sometimes seems as though mites come flying out of enemies I kill. It could just be my eyes playing tricks on me.

I think they have a mild physics to them where they'll follow the head of the Guardian they're swarming around. So, if the head drops, so do they. It could be that, or...well, I don't like the thought of them getting inside our helmets, let alone our heads. Hopefully the Light keeps them at bay.

Well, the mites would pop up right where an enemy dies. Like, they were at that spot. Just a little swarm of colored nanites flying up from the thing I just killed.

I've seen that, too. A bit eerie. It's like they're drinking up the last of the Guardian's Light.
