I'm writing because I had a post removed unfairly, for [i]supposedly[/i] violating the "Disruption/Insults/Disrespect" clause of the ToS. [i][b]Supposedly[/b][/i]. But the moderator, sadly, didn't bother to READ, (let alone comprehend) the offending post and I honestly think that's sad. Now, I'll be clear and note for the record, that in the first or 2nd line, I called the OP a fool, [b]HOWEVER[/b], it was clearly in jest and I even said so within "spoiler" tags and again in a reply to my own comment...which the moderator unfortunately missed. I've read the ToU and the CoC, twice. I violated nadda as I didn't disrupt, insult, nor disrespect anyone. In fact, I was applauding the person I jokingly called a fool for putting forward a request that wasn't asking for nerfs like the the bulk of posts do! Understand, that in the daytime, like right now, I'm a Librarian and I'm in an all out War with willful ignorance. Context. You gotta read more than 1 word to get the context. The reason why certain words get changed when posting is because those words are banned. The word "fool" isn't banned because it's neither disruptive, disrespectful, nor an insult on it's own. It's the context in which the words are used that make them disruptive, disrespectful and/or insulting and you have to read more than one word in the post to get the context. I find it highly unlikely for someone to comprehend someone's intentions without taking the time to view the post. So in conclusion, please, in the future...please take a little time to read a little bit more than a few words of the [i]supposed[/i] offending post. To the NINJA "DAZAROBBO", I can't PM the Mod to inquire the reasoning, because there's no one to reply to. In the message, where yours or my name would go, is simply the words "WARNING". Followed by telling me I was being mean to people and that my future responses to the thread would be blocked and that further violations would result in a ban.
