The story isn't that good because a lot of people quit and were fired before release. Bungie had to cut a lot of content because they didn't have the budget to release the game.

Maybe they should have spent less on advertising and just generally had their shit together. It's like they're buying their crack from Nintendo.

They just need to implement a record book of some sort into the game where all the grimoire is stored. It would fix half the problems

I think it should be a record book, so the player then has the story on them at all times, there will be no excuses to not read sections of it. Guaranteed players will spend hours in orbit by themselves just reading the book if they felt like it. If it was a kiosk in the tower, there is the risk of being kicked due to a bad connection based on other players.
