People know it's Solar burn right?
My God almost every strike I cued into tonight had some genius running with only one or no solar weapons equipped.....YOU ARE NOT HELPING PEOPLE!!!!
SERIOUSLY you are dead weight and dragging down your teammates by crippling your damage output. Christ I ran into one strike where it was one guy who was a voidwalker with void weapons and the other guy was a.....wait for it....BLADEDANCER with a Telesto and an arc heavy! I left the second I hit the ground.
Omgwtf....Sick of breaking my back double carrying on a heroic strike.

Noticed that yesterday as well. People running with Dreadfang. Running Bladedancer against scores of solar shooting Goblins. Before, I'd get annoyed. Now, I laugh, hang back while they get mowed down, clear adds and THEN go for revive. Death is punishment for not knowing the modifiers.

Dude, don't even bother. It's been like this every week since Bungie brought it into the game. Most of the players are stupid and really bad at the game. Simple things like this is exactly why you don't see matchmaking for endgame content. Bungie knows the percentage of idiots.

2 RepliesI told my buddy this while doing strikes as he used his stormcaller, his response: well, if you want to send me 60 bucks I'll play the game how you want me to play it. He had me there, he was right. FYI, his stormcaller still shredded enemies and roasted omnigul.

2 RepliesYou do understand that doing a solar burn strike with arc/void weapons does the exact same damage as when there is no active burn (as it has always been before). Solar burn provides you with more damage, doesn't lessen the effect of others.

You know it's Solar Burn when you and a random accidentally kill Omnigul at the farm spot with your Celestial Night Hawks and your Golden Guns.

Everytime I see one of these posts I make it a point to do heroic strikes with everything but the weapons that match the burn

I never call anyone out on it but I see it happen in heroics all the time. It annoys me a great deal.

This is really bad...these legendary strikes are so much fun with Burn on, and switch your dam subclass guys.. I know night stalker seems like the only option to kinderguardians, but gunslinger is life...

Maybe they're bashing out some bounties or working on a sword quest. Generally Heroic strikes are a piece of cake anyhow for any experienced guardian. [spoiler]the cake is a lie[/spoiler]

Just because its solar burn doesnt mean we have to use a solar weapon.

The strikes are easy using the solar weapons I just make it a little more challenging by using other burn weapons to take out the trash, (with my own firetrap of course;). But I do see your point if the other 2 are useless.

1 ReplyCarrying? In heroic strikes? O..........k?!? Just so you know some people don't actually have decent solar weapons so they use whatever they have. Yes solar weapons will take out enemies quicker, but it's hardly a chore. Also, some people deliberately avoid using the burns to make things a little more challenging. Sucks if you're just trying to speed run the strike, but that's matchmaking for you.
