Dude I'm very conflicted about my religion it's hard to tell what the future will hold so all I do is wait and see I go to church every Sunday but I still wonder sometimes if there's a God or not it's a very weird topic and stuff doesn't add up when you put science and the bible together both seem to have faults so :/

Edited by DogChamp: 9/12/2016 9:27:48 PMIf you believe in a god, I wouldn't recommend the Christian god because that god's decisions make no sense. Science is a much more realistic view on the universe IMO. Also I too am conflicted about this whole religion thing simply because there is so much promises if you believe in a god, even though those promises may be lies. Basically Christianity says you are damned if you don't believe in god, so a lot of people who doubt god's existence may be scared into staying Christian. Keep this in mind if your want.

Didn't know there was more than one God.
also most of what you said may apply to certain branches of Christianity, but not Christianity as a whole
There are many different religions that worship another god, whether or not the god they worship is real.
I know, my family is Christian
Still the same God, just different beliefs

Roman and Greek gods are not the same as the abrahamic god. The Hindu gods are not the same. The tribal gods of native Americans and Africans are not the same. It can be believed that everyone who worships a god worships the same god, and have their own stories of that god, but that's not something you can ever prove, and someone can only believe that everyone worships the same god if they believe in a god.

God as in singular, not plural. Monotheism.

I know, I'm not stupid
