  • People care more about a damn animal than a human child. I quit Earth. I'm going to Mars.

  • Works for me. Hopefully my descendants will return after the rest of humanity is done killing itself off from their own stupidity.

  • It was an endgangered animal. The child could have lived if they tranquilized Harambe. That child is probably just going to get fatally injured elsewhere considering the mother pays no attention.

  • You have no idea how tranqs work. It takes time for the chemicals to work their way through the bloodstream to take effect. In the meantime, you have a gorilla that is already clearly agitated with an intruder in his enclosure. Any cause of pain (like the impact of a tranquilizer dart) would likely send the primate into a rage with a small child in his hands.

  • "You have no idea..." Nice assumption. My turn. You have no idea what an endangered species is.

  • That's cute...for a response from a five year old. I make a statement about how tranquilizers work and your go to response was "you don't know what an endangered species is?" Clearly, no serious discussion can occur with you.

  • I am already clear on how they work. You childishly made the assumption that I don't. Harambe should have been tranquilized. The life of an endangered species is a lot more important than a little kid who is subject to natural selection. There are millions of other little kids, but only few of, what I believe is a silverback gorilla? Not entirely sure.

  • If you know how tranquilizers work then you would know that it would have likely put the child in mortal danger. The gorilla would not have instantly been knocked out like in the movies. No, the life of any creature is not more important than a human being's life. Natural selection? How many stupid things did you do as a kid? I'm sure there are a few. Everyone has done something stupid as a child.
