As I say every time, the Tlaloc is actually quite meh in PvP. I don't know why, but the fact that nobody really uses it is evidence enough.

And another reason no one uses it is cause MIDA has a fast kill time without needing to hold onto your super. MIDA has the better trade off... it still kills fast, and you can use your super. Tlaloc kills REALLY fast, faster than MIDA really, but you can't use your super or you loose that fast kill time. So the trade off is that MIDA is a better choice for the fact you can still use super.

Sunlocks were all about that neutral game until very recently, and you still didn't see a lot of Tlaloc.

Again, cause MIDA is a better choice still for the longest time. For a lot of players it's force of habit to go "Eh I got this and it works, why bother trying anything else out. Don't fix what ain't broken."

High skill players would have used what's best. They didn't use Tlaloc.

Again, cause the trade off. MIDA has a lot of benefits besides a high kill time, benefits that Tlaloc doesn't have. The only benefit that I've seen is being able to out gun a MIDA when [i]super charged[/i], which again, is a part of why some don't want to use it- even with Sunsingers running self rez, you'll loose that fast kill time on rez, which could get you killed again. And besides, who cares what top tier players use? It's boring if everyone is using the same gear with no differences. Branch out, try something new.

I do, and almost every other match I see someone using it. Once it's super charged it kills so quickly, thanks to not having damage reduction when the fire rate gets bumped up.
