tier drop
You'll have your T12 back once you hit 380-400 light. Nothing worth mentioning.

I've found it's actually easier to spec characters after the drop: I don't sacrifice one for the chance of increasing another category.
-
Yes it is any and all changes that impact a character's attributes subclassrs or gear are worth mentioning!
-
But I thought it was obvious? The same thing happened last year, except we all dropped from T11 to T3. I understand a lot of new players have joined since then but there's really no other way for Bungie to prevent power creep.
-
Edited by goldstarlestelle: 9/11/2016 6:27:08 PMIt's not about the reason. It's about Bungie not saying anything. Just tell us. Bungie is very bad with transparency. They said they were going to get better. And to your statement the "alot of new players" from a year ago don't need to be informed?
-
I'm not defending Bungie. I'm just saying, with what happened last year, the same would obviously be applied this year. I agree, they need to be more transparent. But I already addressed why they didn't need to this time. T13-T15 is undoubtedly never going to be reached, because the whole point of the tier system is to use a build that works for you. Otherwise we'd have armor with all three stats instead of just two. I'm not saying newer players don't need to be informed. You misunderstood. I'm saying they probably missed the transition week of HoW -> TTK, and didn't know stats will drop every year.
-
Edited by goldstarlestelle: 9/11/2016 6:49:18 PMI feel Bungie should tell the current community about any changes that affects our characters when ever anything is changed. You do not. Agree to disagree.
-
The difference between you and I is I can recognize patterns while you cannot. It's honestly that simple.
-
Edited by goldstarlestelle: 9/11/2016 7:25:53 PMNo that's a similarity. The diffrence is what I already said. You either don't get it or are just being defensive.
-
I'm thinking that they'll allow us to get around tier 14 at the highest levels
-
I don't think so. Power creep.
-
Oh, thanks, didn't know that I would have to work to get back what I already earned. While they are at it, should they take away my Exotics since I'll probably find those again as well? It doesn't matter that I will get it back, it's the fact that I shouldn't have to get it back. I shouldn't be punished for their lack of foresight at how the scaling will work for higher LL gear. If your justification is that they didn't realize that the light level would be going up to 400 by the end of Destiny 1, that's their fault, not mine.
-
If they didn't scale stats down with each expansion, everyone would have T15 gear by Y4. Deal with it.
-
Oh, and I don't seem to recall them nerfing the stats back in October. In fact, I seem to recall them enabling people to reach T12 thanks to it. So this is not only a stealth nerf, but a total change in their previous MO.
-
What happened in October? I don't understand what you're rambling about but you seem extremely salty. Would you rather have all Y2 gear become useless and have their stats drop by 80%? That's what happened during the transition into TTK. Relax. Be happy it isn't as extreme as last year. And if you really hate the way Bungie handles things, stop playing. Building up resentment like that isn't healthy.
-
So you are fine with them just arbitrarily deciding that your T11 gear is now T9 on a whim and expecting us to be ok with it? Maybe I'm expecting too much for them to have a plan for their game instead of this hodgepodge that we call Destiny. But then again, maybe I also don't like to get dicked around. You must. Hey, your house is now only worth 80% because guess what, it'll increase in value over the next two years, so you'll be whole again by the end! Oh, also, your salary just got cut as well, cause we decided it was too high. You'll find out when you get your next paycheck. But hey, you keep drinking that kool-aid and saying that it's fine, we are all just crybabies because we expect a little more respect and communication. Maybe even some honest communication.

Tbh the switch to TTK was far worse. We went from a system in which every point lowered your CDs, to a system with fixed tiers. That was a real slap to the face.
