The reason there is aim assist on consoles, is because you can't be as precise as you need to be to use a sniper. We are playing on a stick that controls reticle acceleration rather than distance so the slow down when it crosses an enemy is meant to compensate for that lack of precision. It's reticle deceleration that cause you to be able to full force push the stick across someone's head and pull the trigger and still get the kill with no skill just cause you were close enough

The reticle deceleration gives you a [b][i][u]fraction of a second longer[/u][/i][/b] to pull the trigger. It doesn't slow it down to the point where you can realize that it's slowing down then shoot, you have to already know when your reticle will pass their head. How about equipping a sniper and actually try "drag scoping" and tell me how "no skill" it is. I doubt a shotgun has ever left your special slot if that's truly how you believe sniping works. Have fun on the bottom of the leaderboard! [spoiler]You won't get 5 kills in a game with a sniper, I'd put money on it[/spoiler]

Jokes on you, I've been using snipers for the last week, and you wouldn't BELIEVE how many times I've just swung my reticle across someone's head, pulled the trigger, and gotten the kill, despite that with a shitty in my hand I normally get upper 3 on the end screen.

Tell me this; if aim assist is why sniping has "no skill" involved, why can I do just as well with a sniper such as praedyths revenge, black spindle, patience and time, or stillpeircer, which all have low aim assist values, as I can with the high aim assist ones like the 1kys? You missed the point entirely. Lol ffs I was talking about dragscoping. Your argument was that because of aim assist, it's too easy to dragscope. Am I wrong in saying that was your point? I responded with saying that the aim assist value of my sniper wouldn't affect my performance at all, therefor from my experience aim assist is not as powerful as you seem to think and trust me one week of sniping is not enough to have a solid argument.
