Sterling Treasures have no future as far as I know.

Sterling Treasures aren't going to be sold anymore but they will still be earned in Level 41 Prison of Elders

That's one good thing at least. I just hate how Bungie gives us stuff then decides to take them away or make them worthless. Prison of Elders for example, that hasn't been useful until April. Etheric Light is useless and Bungie didn't even TRY to make them useful again, just made it so we could get rid of them. Several Strike playlists are lost, so far players have had to pay for Trials of Osiris [b]twice[/b] and Rise of Iron will mark the 3rd time they have to pay for it. Players will have to pay for Iron Banner for the 2nd time in Rise of Iron, and most likely have to pay for all the crucible playlists again so they don't have to stick to so called "Legacy" playlists that give them almost no control over the game mode they want. They'll have to pay to do the Nightfall too most likely. At least Private Matches are confirmed to be free so... yay? I love the game, but I hate the developers.
