They've already done it with practically every single DLC/expansion except HoW when they supposedly learned some valuable lessons about respecting our time...

Your forgetting the lack of a raid in HoW, they -blam!-ed us over but smoothed it out by letting us advance our gear, knowing the whole time that they were going to -blam!- us again. I love destiny but i hate bungie and they are going to ruin it completely
