Wow, i can understand the fix, but adding range is ridiculus. Your mellee can 1hit, regenrates health and you perform a blink meaning you can hardly get damaged. Fix the frontstep first, it still procs in the forehead

Blink strike is not the same as backstab. He's addressing BLINK STRIKE, the range of the melee and how often it simply doesn't work properly.
-
I know, i was adressing the problem blinkstrike still has, seems this person wants to fix blink strike, but not backstep.
-
That's called a crit melee. Everyone can do it.
-
No only bladedancer can 1hit kill with their standard melee. Every subclass has its own mellee, some deal more damage(storm fist) other have bonus range(thunderstrike) or you have a more defensife mellee (life regen, force barrier) but blink strike is the only one wich gains a little bit of everything.
-
A little bit of everything? Blink strikes range is less than a warlocks standard melee range. Titans can one hit kill with storm fist overcharge and shoulder charge, warlocks can with Thunderstrike with feedback, and every class can get a head crit. You have to jump over them. I've done it as a warlock and a Titan.
-
Shoulder Charge does not count in this case.
-
Even then they still have storm fist overload.
-
I actually see more people running Amplify rather than Overload.
-
Doesn't matter. It's the possibility that matters. I prefer to run fast twitch rather than backstab.
-
You cannot crit someone with a melee (unless blink strike) (maybe if someone is tethered, than the numbers are yellow, so it might look like a crit but still isnt a crit) thunderstrike CANNOT 1hit enemys, even if they have minimum armor+ you have feedback active. SC requires you to charge up your mellee and get close (easy to counter) and storm fist only 1hits if you decide to run a no armor built. Blink strike 1hits if you use backstep and you mellee someone in the back, but sometimes you get 1hitted in the front by blinkstrike (glich probebly, still not fixed)
-
Ok feedback does not require a no armor build, and I don't see anything about Storm fist overload. And I am certain you can, but it's very uncommon as the melee snaps to the body of your opponent but I can be forced with a jump. It does not flash yellow numbers.
-
I believe 1hitkill with storm fist overload is/was a glich, but i never see it happen anymore these days. Storm fist with discharge deals even more damage, i believe it kills no armor enemys in 1hit. Further, if you believe that you deal more damage with the same mellee by melleeing an enemy on a different spot than 1:you are wrong or 2:its a glich. I play crusible every day and i play with different subclasses every time, but what you are claiming... i never saw it happen. If you got ANY kind of proof of this mellee glich please send me a link to it, i would love to see it
-
It's happened for a while. Try it on a knight it you can get it to work in crucible. Unless they fixed it and I don't know, it still happened.
-
I have heard about it and in pve aspects you are right(it does deal more damage, its supposed to happen), but in pvp its not (supposed to be) happening.
-
It does, if you can get it to work.
-
As i said, i play pvp every day and i never saw it happen. But next time that i play pvp i will make sure to hit enemys at different angles

Edited by SlowDancer13: 9/1/2016 9:12:40 PMTry jumping over their heads. It messes with the auto aim pulling it straight on to their heads.
-
Ok i ll keep that in mind.

Edited by Frodo-Swaggingss: 9/1/2016 8:34:30 PMI dint ment that feedback required a no armor build, i ment that if you have feedback active and your oponnent has a no armor built than it still doesnt 1hit the enemy
