They push air up to create an upward force and there wings move extremely fast i don't know how but hummingbird fast

Originally we though bees flapped there little wings straight forwards and back and that wouldn't produce enough lift to lift them up off the ground, but bees actually flap there wings in a circular formation which does produce enough lift. We just didn't have the tools to examine their wings accurately when we couldn't figure out how they could fly.
