Love that you deem anyone that disagrees with you a jackass. I don't like your idea, it doesn't make any sense contextually.
English
-
Well what makes sense about Valus Ta'aurc still being alive?
-
What are you talking about
-
Valus still being alive doesn't make sense contextually, but he was brought forward, so why not other things as well.
-
You're comparing a mechanic present and needed for replayability with adding something that goes directly against literally everything that's been established about the fallen. Asinine comparison.
-
Well I mean just the guns. They could bring the vex or necro back without having to do much. They wouldn't have to bring the raids forward even though they want it to be relevant again. That's the point I was getting to. No need to insult me jackass.
-
Ummm not once did I insult you. I said your comparison was asinine, if you don't know what that means, you can look it up. And not once did you say anything about guns until just now, at least not to me. Are you drunk? Or ten?
-
We were originally talking about how this idea doesn't make sense contextually. I said what makes sense about valus still being around. The whole point is that bungie is trying to play lore keeper, but is failing so much. Why weren't other strikes and weapons brought forward? All of a sudden you bring up game mechanics and say my comparison is asinine (which is an indirect insult. In case you didn't know it means incredibly foolish which can be taken as a -blam!-ing insult).
-
Lol you're funny. "Indirect insult" nope, not for a second. The idea that someone can't disagree with your opinion without it being an insult to you is your problem and no one else's. Valus isn't "still around", you keep hinging your argument on an untrue statement. The ability to replay a mission is not the same thing as making up lore that literally doesn't fit the current narrative for an already established race. This conversation isn't about "bringing things forward" and never was. Its about creating a social space that literally makes no sense within the framework that currently exists. So your Valus comment failed on two fronts. It both didn't belong in the topic at hand, as the conversation, again, was not about bringing things forward, and it was poorly defended within either topic anyway. So I reiterate, asinine comment.
-
It's not that you're disagreeing. It's that you're insulting. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but you called mine utterly stupid. Valus is still around, but bungie has written off Sepiks in game, so why have others not? Did you even read it? It turned into one after I had stated that Valus still being around didn't make sense contextually and got on to the topic of many things not making sense contextually, so why not just bring everything forward and forget context. Nothing makes a whole lot of sense in the existing framework. That's what I'm trying to tell you, but you're so damn ignorant and stubborn to listen. So I reiterate, you sire are a jackass.

Edited by Otter Ruin: 8/29/2016 9:42:17 PMYou are quickly becoming the embodiment of your comment (that IS an insult). Yes everyone is entitled to their own opinion. My opinion is that your statement was devoid of intelligent thought. The decision to be insulted by that is yours alone. Offensive is always taken, never given. You do not need to have context to bring a gun forward or leave one behind. The numerical representation of the guns' strength does not affect its existence in the game's lore. You do not need to have context in order to have a strike playable at year two levels (Valus) or not playable (Sepiks). The presence of higher numerical representations of the AI's strength does not change the lore. Not once does it get said that Valus wasn't actually dead. That would change the lore, and not fit in with the framework provided in the story, one that involved his demise. Having a social space filled with non-violent Fallen COMPLETELY CHANGES THE LORE SURROUNDING THE CURRENT CONFLICT. Outside of Variks, the only non hostile Fallen (and if you read the grimoire, this may not be the case permanently) there is exactly ZERO reason an entire sect of the race to be non hostile to the guardians, the people they hold responsible for their inability to regain the Traveler. Your inability to separate these two ideals is where our current disconnect lies. You are unable to recognize the what actually makes sense within the story and what doesn't impact the story at all.

It could be remaining wolves who stayed by the queen. Ever think about that? No. Because you're so caught up in your own head to even know what's going on around you. You only see what you want to. You are a bigot and want nothing more from you. I will be the one to end this. Mute
-
Edited by Otter Ruin: 8/29/2016 9:54:22 PMNo wolves stayed. Next? And you continue to show you don't know what words mean. Bigot? Lmao
-
Edited by Levigumba, Overload's Bane: 8/30/2016 5:36:34 PMNarrow minded you dumbass. You act like you have omniscient knowledge of what happened in lore. Some wolves could've stayed. Or like what someone else said, there could be others that were in hiding. We don't know. You're so quick to write it off.
-
Edited by Otter Ruin: 8/30/2016 5:45:11 PMLol glad you're back. Keep with the name calling, its a great look for you. Ok, some wolves were hiding. (I guess you don't remember the missions from TTK where you are sent to kill the wolves that are hiding.) Given the traitorous nature of the wolves, and the fallen in general, why would guardians risk themselves to do any sort of bartering while completely surrounded by creatures that have shown will turn on you in a moment? Literally no way you dissect this arrives at a conclusion thay makes any sort of sense.
-
It could be another reef out post with a couple gaurds to keep the wolves in check.
-
Any wolves would've either fled or been imprisoned immediately once the uprising started. You don't make an attempt on the Queen's life and just carry on like nothing happened. Keep trying, you'll get it soon.
-
Well they could be literally attached to leashes and forced to trade with guardians
-
The Awoken Army was decimated in the assault on the dreadnaught. Why would the Awoken waste valuable able bodied soldiers to guard violent prisoners simply for the purpose of having them be vendors? That's like target hiring armed guards so they can use murder convicts as cashiers.
-
Hey there's quite a bit of guards just lounging around in the vestian outpost right now.
-
Grasping at straws now buddy. You have no horse in this race. Not a single actual thing you posited makes any sense from any stand point whatsoever. Understand this. And let it go.
-
Nothing makes any sense in this game
-
When YOU describe it, no, it doesn't
-
YOU don't get it
-
Edited by Otter Ruin: 8/31/2016 12:10:08 AMYes, I don't get how a single person can be so objectively ignorant when it comes to how something can or cannot fit within the context and framework of a story.
-
The only part of the story that makes sense isn't even in game. The game barely makes sense story wise. Valus should be dead, but he's not. Sepiks is dead though. How does that make any sense?
