I've been legit DDoS'd in this game once (maybe twice) and that was first week of TTK Trials, me in the UK, my friend who lives about a 30 minute drive away, and my friend who lives in the US all got our routers kicked offline at the exact same time. Other than that I've seen maybe one or two other instances of [i]actual[/i] cheating in this game up until now, what kind of lobbies are you playing in?
It is not possible to mod current-gen consoles.

It is possible to Mod current consoles. I saw them for sale both in the Middle East and Asia before I came home. The vendors even sell them on post to service members and contractors. They came preloaded with 100's of games and you could ask for and get all or any Mod you desired. A lot of guys bought them just to dominate in PvP.

Exploitation of a security vulnerability to cause a crash/reduce performance or to stop the service responding to the network. Malicious attempt to sever the connection of the user from a service. Get someone's IP and flood it until it breaks, if you know what you're doing (or have the money to pay someone to do it for you), it isn't difficult. But hey, in the end, I'll never know if the attack was coming from one computer or from multiple, so whether I use DoS or DDoS doesn't really matter. You expect me to believe that all three of us, one being literally across the ocean from the other two, all had our connections shut off at the exact same time as a coincidence? I checked the recent games of the guys who we matched with and they had 5 wins with 0 kills in a row.

It's strange how people still act like it is impossible for someone to DoS or DDoS.

The way I see these people is basically "I don't know how to attack someone's network, therefore no-one does and it's not possible" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
