Material Farming
I've been away from Destiny for well over a year (I dropped the game sometime during PoE). With RoI being the final DLC and releasing next month, I decided to pick the game back up. A lot has changed since I last played (Black Hammer no longer possessing infinite ammo potential). Anyway, I thought to try going through my old farm grounds for material farming. I noticed that loot chests don't spawn nearly as often as I remembered. One full circuit around the Ember Caves on Venus yielded no chests and I remembered finding at least three per circuit. The same goes for the Scablands on Mars. Basically, I'd like to know where I can find a current material farming guide because it seems as though the go-to farms over a year ago no longer exist or their yields have been nerfed.

3 RepliesYou can buy materials, or you can even have your ghost deliver materials straight to your inventory. There is little need to farm. If you're determined to farm though try to level up your Nightstalker to unlock the Keen Scout perk or go about getting your hands on a weapon with Relentless Tracker. These will make chests and material deposits appear on your radar, greatly accelerating the process.

They should reintroduce the need to farm. It gave a reason to actually patrol.

9 RepliesSeriously? Even during TDB you didn't have to farm. Regardless... just use legendary marks to buy that shit from the vanguard weapon vendor.
