Good luck getting a group if you don't have a mic. I'd say it was essential especially if you are inexperienced.

Appreciate that mate but most (not all) people would certainly prefer you to have a mic especially if you are new to the raid. Just sayin you may struggle to get people to play with.

Oh yea sure it can be done. Not disputing that. But the raid, especially the first time you do it is such an involved experience having a mic is a huge advantage. Especially totems when you call timings / boomers / switching to middle etc and if you are torn or runner. And it must be boring not being able to chat to your fire team surely???
