I appreciate the compliments, thank you! ^_^ Do you have any opinions or thoughts you wish to share on this subject matter? If so, they're certainly welcome. If not, that's also fair, as there isn't much practicality in this topic for most.

Yea, what are your thoughts on this subject personally? I know in the op you tried to keep personal bias out of it, but I'd be really interested in knowing your thoughts. Like, are you a Satanist or anything? (Personally I'd be really interested in a post about Satanism)

Edited by Masque of Night: 8/25/2016 5:14:46 AMI may eventually make a post about Satanism, but I have other potential subjects in mind as well for a later date. It's really just a matter of whatever I feel like discussing when the motivation to make a thread comes to me. Anyway, in terms of my own perspective on the subject...to a degree, I do have an interest in necromancy and the potential reality behind it. However, I have little interest in actually raising the dead, conjuring spirits, or anything of the like. I suppose i'm more drawn to the more modern focus of experiencing and learning to work with the "energy" or "aura" of death, since that is something I feel i've directly experienced before. I'm also simply fascinated by the history of the practice and the philosophical reflections on the nature of and connections between life and death. I've always held a morbid curiosity about the concept of death itself for as long as I can remember, and I suppose my interest in this subject is essentially an extension of that initial curiosity. As for my religion...I wouldn't really say I have one. The only interest i've ever held in organized religion was and still is strictly from an educational point of view. I believe the path of one's soul needn't be determined or dictated by a human collective such as a formally established church, and that the journey should be much more personal and focus on the individual gradually experiencing the universe around them and the various forces that influence it. Granted, that is only my perspective. If someone believes that organized religion or a particular faith is truly the way to peace and salvation, I wish them all the best along that path. We each have our own paths to follow, sometimes they may cross for a time, and eventually they may or may not separate, but regardless i've always felt that they should be followed until the end.

I'm sure whatever topic you choose to write about next will still provide a good read. I think you really hit the Mark with your description of personal fulfillment. It never made sense to me that everyone of a religion follows the exact same way to enlightenment.
