I don't really use magic that much besides soothing sunlight and weapon buffs. I'm level 305 and I'm mostly a strength/dexterity build
-
A magic user, I assume? Not of the miraculous variety?
Are you an INT main, is what I'm getting at
-
No not really. I have a lot of points in every stat. I'm also level 305
-
So multiple NGs? I tend to stay at PvP level for all characters (120) which is why I assumed you had a certain build. But I'm super excited for the new magic as well, and hope it is really good. The pyromancies introduced in Crown of the Old Iron King were great, so I have the same hope for the frost-type spells
-
There's still a lot of PVP around my level. I have the stats to use every weapon, pyromancy, Sorcery, and Miracle in the game
-
That's good that there is still PvP! I guess I just like having the players made level constrictions, like in Dark Souls. It makes you think more about the stats and weapons you want to use, I feel.

Edited by Kain The Slain: 8/23/2016 11:51:56 PMI'm mostly strength and dex so I use a lot of weapons more than magic stuff
-
Still though, magic must be a great supplement at that level
-
"Indeed it is. I use pyromancies and miracles sometimes but I never really use sorceries that much except for soul stream
-
I never got too into Spells, but my brother has an INT main, and I love some of the new spells added like the Farron flash sword and the Soul dart. They've certainly gotten innovative over the years with all the spells they've added!
-
Yep. Catching someone mid role with sacred flame is so satisfying
-
Ehehe, that's actually the pyromancy I picked up on my DEX to punish people who hide behind shields better than kicking.
-
It's super effective at getting through shields
-
Not to mention it catches a lot of people off guard, not only because it is an unused pyromancy, but a mainly DEX build pulling that out is a little surprising as well
-
-
I need more pyromancies. FROMSOFT PLZ!

Edited by Jphn_33: 8/23/2016 11:25:40 PMI imagine that will be more emphasized in the second DLC. I remember Vaati had a theory concerning the DLC, saying that one will be focused on the light, and the other the dark. So far, he doesn't seem too entirely wrong. This one seems as if it is focused on ice, ash, and darkness, but it is still likely that some very interesting pyromancies will make an appearance. All we can really do is wait and see!
