Im all for charity. However, how many subscribers are they picking up along the way?
Them gaining subscribers adds to the dollar amount they receive from prospective videos on markets like YouTube and twitch. To my knowledge (I could be wrong).
The pay to carry market and overall attitude of most streamers has made it nigh impossible to have faith in streamers doing something like this without ulterior motives.
Not every streamer is this way but most.

The charity stream is on its own separate account. There is no sub button. A majority of the people watching are already subs. Thank you for attempting to shit on a great thing.

You see this is exactly what I am talking about. You say I am attempting to shit on a good thing when in fact you have absolutely no clue at all on multiple things. You don't know whether or not I watched, donated or anything. Yet here you are running your mouth. I was simply stating that because of so many streamers begging for subscribers and doing paid carries on these exact same forums, it has tarnished the reputation of reputable streamers. So do us all a favor and stfu.

I have no clue on multiple things? Of the streamers participating, can you pick me out the ones that do paid carries? I'll wait.

No, I even said it doesn't apply to all but since your taking such offense to it, I say that you very well may be but that's just a guess. I wasn't knocking or dissing the stream or what they are trying to do at all. I was just pointing out that many streamers (not all) have, by their actions, developed a significant distain from many in the community as being subscription seeking, pay for carry, bane of the community. So doing something like this seems iffy.
