Once I pet a bumblebee sitting on a flower because I wanted to feel dem fur. It turned around and stung me in a super quick bumblebee move. Mama always said bumblebees are flying teddy bears that don't sting. Well she was wrong and 8 year old me cried.

Young me saw a nest of yellow jackets in a box of pool toys and my brain went, "yellow and black grasshoppers!" then I grabbed one. Mistake. Luckily only got stung once in the wrist, hurt pretty bad tho.

One time when I was in fifth grade I grabbed one off a flower at recess and ran around terrorizing everyone with it. I got in trouble but it was worth it.
